HORMACHUELOS for Linux.
Build websites, apps and games from one chat - now on Linux. It uses the same account and the same plans as Windows and Mac.
Install the AppImage (any distro)
- Make the downloaded file runnable: right-click it → Properties →
Allow executing file as program, or in a terminal:
chmod +x HORMACHUELOS-Linux.AppImage - Double-click it, or run
./HORMACHUELOS-Linux.AppImage. - If it does not open, install FUSE once:
sudo apt install libfuse2t64(on other distros the package is calledfuse2orfuse-libs).
Or install the .deb (Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Pop!_OS)
- In the folder you downloaded it to, run:
sudo apt install ./HORMACHUELOS-Linux.deb - Open HORMACHUELOS from your app menu.
Then log in and choose a plan
- Click Log in in the app - your browser opens hormachuelos.com.
- Log in (or create an account) and approve this computer.
- Choose a plan, paid with QR Ph - GCash, Maya or any bank app. Already have a plan from Windows or Mac? It works here too, with the same usage.
What it includes
- Everything you build with on Windows: chat, websites, apps and games, files on your computer, the built-in preview, web search, memory and the phone remote.
- Commands run in your own shell (bash or zsh), with your tools and PATH.
- Coming soon on Linux: computer use across the whole computer (the AI moving your mouse and typing in other apps). Inside the preview window it already works.
Optional helpers. The folder and file pickers use zenity (most
desktops have it; on KDE kdialog works too), and copying an image uses
wl-clipboard or xclip. If a picker says it is missing:
sudo apt install zenity wl-clipboard xclip
Something not right? If something doesn't work the way it does on Windows, tap the bug button beside the menu (Send feedback) - or message us from the Support page. Thank you for trying it early!
